TQUELL ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not access or use our Service.

This policy applies to all users of TQUELL, including users in the United States, European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws.

2Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, password (encrypted), phone number (optional), and profile information such as bio and location.
  • Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Communication Data: Messages you send through our support system, feedback, and survey responses.
  • Preferences: Notification settings, display preferences, and platform customizations.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, signals viewed, watchlist activity, screener searches, and time spent on the platform.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and unique device identifiers.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs.
  • Location Data: General geographic location based on IP address (country/city level only).

2.3 Trading Activity Data

  • Signal Interactions: Signals you join, exit times, and position tracking preferences.
  • Watchlist: Stocks you add to your watchlist and price alerts you set.
  • Portfolio Data: If you use our portfolio tracking features, we store the data you input about your holdings.

Note: We do not have access to your brokerage accounts. All portfolio data is self-reported and stored solely for your personal tracking purposes.

3How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide Our Service: Deliver trading signals, screener results, watchlist functionality, and position guidance based on your preferences.
  • Personalize Experience: Customize content, recommendations, and notifications based on your interests and activity.

We use the following third-party services to operate TQUELL:

Payment Processing

Email Communications

Market Data Providers

We receive market data from licensed providers. This data powers our signals, screener, and real-time quotes. These providers do not receive your personal information.

Infrastructure

Vercel: Hosts our application. Neon/PostgreSQL: Database services. Upstash: Redis caching. All providers maintain SOC 2 compliance.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand usage patterns. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook tracking pixels.

6Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and security. Cannot be disabled.
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings, theme preferences, and display options.
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with our Service (anonymous, aggregated data).

Managing Cookies

Do Not Track: We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals and do not track users who have enabled this setting.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any breach affecting your personal data as required by law.

8Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion for recovery purposes.
  • Trading History: Retained for 3 years to support your performance analysis.
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Support Communications: Retained for 2 years after resolution.
  • Log Data: Automatically deleted after 90 days.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9). Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out: Opt-out of the "sale" of personal information. Note: We do not sell personal information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

12Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information.
